about Men's Friars

After being promoted in 2022-23 the Friars managed to stay up and are now not even at the bottom of the Canterbury Men's hockey pyramid with a new 10th XI added this season. With an age range from 13 to 81 it is a team of very different abilities from talented juniors dipping their feet into adult hockey for the first season to evergreen players who still wish to continue playing until they drop! Since they started playing league hockey 13 years ago the Friars have only ever moved out of their original league - once and upwards!
