Southwick 4 – 2 Grims

Since Christmas the Grims have had good days and bad days but have been coming away with the result. But oh my god the boys were off the pace today.

The boys headed down to play the angry mob of Southwick each man think I predict a riot.

Southwick took the lead but the ruby haired Will Giltrow quickly levelled things up. Another little shock came when Alex Rydon gave away a questionable at best flick and Southwick regained the lead.

The boys got to halftime and it was looking easier to put a man on mars than to turn the dismal Grims display around. Never the less the boys have been on the run before. A bit of the hair dryer treatment from the skipper. Not the modern way but it was definitely something we needed.

The second half didn’t get much better and the Grims gave away another two goals before Zak Williams scored from the spot to conclude the scoring.

While the boys seems as if everything was average nowadays a few wise words from the skip left us knowing that if we each listen to our head and play proper Grims hockey we would keep our assault on the title in full flow.
