Canterbury travelled away to Gore Court looking to continue their good start to the season.
The was a lull in the rain as the game started however there was also a lull in concentration and Gore Court capitalised and took an early 1-0 lead.
Canterbury then regrouped and got back to playing their style of game. Chris Podd hit back finishing a great team move down the right and then finishing a moved PC to make it 2-1.
Canterbury then stepped it up again in the 2nd half and youngsters Figgis, Aitken, Brown & Brett really started to step up. 3-1 came from a PF converted by Matt Lea after Sabo’s strike had found a foot on the line. Gore Court then got a PF of their own however MoM Andy Howard was having none of it and made an excellent save down to his right. Canterbury then made it 4-1 via Morts converting a moved PC and Matt Lea made it 5-1 finishing a good move down the left.
Gore Court then got back to 5-2 courtesy of a top corner finish from Alan Carter defending a PC before Chris Figgis and Kai Brown combined excellently Figgy selling the defender and GK to lay the ball off to Kai who finished at full stretch to complete the 6-2 win. The streak continues…
