The Millers travelled to far flung Bromley and Beckenham, meeting shortly after sunrise in preparation for a 10.45am push back. Despite a few changes to the line-up, the visitors started well against a well warmed-up opposition and Canterbury took the lead with a lovely deflection from Craig Cholerton. However, when the umpire missed an obvious infringement at the top of the D BromBeck took full advantage to level the scores. A penalty corner shortly after this, saw Canterbury going in 2-1 down at the interval despite dominating the game in terms of both possession and chances.

A half-time restructure of the Canterbury formation saw the visitors come out and quickly equalise through a Paul Sharratt side-winder following good work from Ali Scott-Kilvert to win the initial penalty corner. Further goals from Callum Condon, Olly Neal and Ali Scott-Kilvert plus a second from Craig Cholerton, rounded off a fine team performance in the second half. Jude Lanstone, in goal, made some crucial saves to keep the home side at bay as the half wore on. However, the game ended as with a respectable 6-2 win, and three points, to the Green & White army and all wrapped up before lunch.

Squad: Jude Lanstone (GK), Neil Barnes, Paul Sharratt, Graeme van der Merwe, Seth Tyler, Callum Condon, Olly Neal, Craig Cholerton, Simon Hurlow, Leo Norwood, Hugh Thompson, Ali Scott-Kilvert.
